Notebook for Engineers (specifically EU)

Does the college of engineering require students to purchase a specific laptop model?

Nope. There's no computer requirement whatsoever. I can tell you though that just about everyone has either a Dell laptop (like me) or an Apple PowerBook. You don't necessarily need the most advanced top-of-the-line version either, because if you need to use a complex application then you can use a computer in one of the 24/7 labs (SAL, KOH, or WPH).
