I believe those eligible for scholarship interviews start to hear from USC by late January. My daughter received her "Welcome to the Trojan Family" packet on March 2nd last year. I know some didn't hear anything until early April.

Nah, it's rolling notification all the way up through early April even for those who applied before the scholarship deadline. If you DO get a scholarship, you get notified earlier than everyone else.

If you don't hear right away, don't sweat it, you're probably still in the running. Jan/Feb admits seem to be mostly the "big money" scholarship recipients like full/half/quarter tuition.

what about if your up for national merit/national hispanic scholarship?

i was a national hispansic finalist, do i automatically get the half tuition scholarship if im admitted, (since there is no form to fill out about your top choice school for national hispanic as opposed to national merit)?

Very exciting, my best friend's daughter (who lives back East) got a call today from Viterbi wanting to interview her for a possible scholarship...so the admissions/scholarship process is now underway, folks!

Don't know which scholarship, but she was told to expect her acceptance packet in a week or so.
