If you're a Spring admit, can you appeal to be admitted for Fall?

^ In past years, there were a couple of instances where Spring admits were bumped up to Fall; and that's when they didn't even appeal.

Has anyone heard from USC on the scholarship results? Has anyone heard from USC for his/her Trustee Scholarship?

No one has yet; decisions are expected to be released very, very soon, though. Like, this week, soon. =)

i was wondering if i submit my enrollment fee, does that mean i am now "locked in" to USC?
i know the fee is nonrefundable, but can i still revoke my enrollment if i choose to?

yes, xboredguy. You get to hold your spot at USC (congrats!), but if you don't mind forfeiting the deposit, you may withdraw. I would also advise you to sign up for housing asap (another $30 deposit which you will lose if you withdraw). And you should also sign up for Orientation this summer, where you will register for fall classes.

As madbean says, sign up for housing asap (even if you are not sure you will attend), but you can do that without submitting your enrollment fee - just the $30. If you are still undecided, why not wait until the end of April to submit your enrollment deposit? You have until May 1st to respond. The orientation sessions DO fill up (and you cannot sign up for orientation until you submit your deposit), but my D did not commit to USC until April 30th and was still able to chose from three orientation sessions.

thank you madbean and alamemom
Im pretty much set on going to USC but its my parents that have something different planned for me. They're trying to send me to different schools in hoping that I change my mind, but i feel like i will do well at USC.
I only ask about the enrollment because i already submitted it. (without them knowing that i did) I just wanted to know in the rare case that i DO(not likely) change my mind, i can still back out.

So I am a spring admit, and not sure how they choose which people get bumped up.
Because on the USC appeals thread people are getting in for fall semester. I thought that they would admit spring admits first, and then fill the remaining spots with appeals. Does anyone know anything??

The earlier admissions deadline is for if you want to be under scholarship consideration. Other than that, there is no advantage.
