OH ok. I attend a high school and plan on applying to the Viterbi School of Engineering. I have prominent scores in Physics and Math2c. I do not need 3 to apply?

You are correct. They recommend you submit SAT subject tests, but they are not required. Submitting two would be acceptable. Good luck!

Hey USC notifies you about their decision through email, right?

Postal mail?! But I'm an international student. It'd take at least 2 weeks to get a letter from them. Have they really never sent emails?

According to posts here, International students are notified of acceptances by a DHL express package. They have posted that they got an email (from DHL) saying a DHL package was sent, and they seem to arrive in 2 - 5 days.

Please answer asap: we just realized we had not yet sent USC SAT scores (from October). Today is November 11th and the application (in S's case) needs to be complete by Dec. 1. Should we do the "rush" sending, even though they get them electronically? We just now ordered the regular delivery.

I would think regular delivery should be fine. In the meantime, FAX your copy of the scores to USC admissions with the applicant's USC I.D on it. They will use the unofficial scores in considering the application and verify the information when the official scores arrive. (BTW, you are WAY ahead of many... pop back in here on Nov 30th to see REAL panic!)

Okay, another question. In the short answer section, it suggests "about a paragraph" or something. But my S's additional information is about 3 paragraphs. He's tried to shorten it, but with the course area not having room for all his many music courses, part of it was eaten up by that alone (and they told him to put the courses in there). But he has other additional info! If this section is limited to one paragraph, it's the only school that does this for an "additional info" section. Help?

I've already given my teacher the stamped envelope to send the recommendation to USC.. is it supposed to have my USC ID number on the outside?

If I submit my USC app before the Dec. 1 scholarship application deadline, will they still consider my December SAT1 scores and my senior year first semester grades?

Also, how likely is it that I will get scholarship money? My GPA and SAT both aren't stellar, and it seems 50/50 whether or not I'll get in. Do I have any chance at all of getting some scholarship money?
