I saw on a previous post that a letter of recommendation is required for the trustee/presidential scholarship, is this true? I don't remember reading that anywhere in my letter. HELP!

I'm an RA and I work at the Emergency Services and Fire Safety Office. No official ties with admission. No, you don't need to bring anything more to the interview- everything was included in the application.

quick question...when do adcoms start reviewing international applicants? I heard that they review applicants based on state? does that mean that international applicants who submitted by jan 10....are last?

Shouldn't you have done that like...forever ago? The teacher evaluations, right? You're only supposed to send in one, though. I sent it in a little before my application.

Really? I went ahead and sent in two, just for the heck of it. Hope it doesn't affect anything...

Sorry Lynn4eva, Ponydance, Encumbrance- your questions are very specific and it seems that there is no one checking the boards now who knows your answers. You may want to use the Advance Search button above and find old discussions or maybe find a member who has talked about that and PM him/her.

(lynn4eva- it seems that USC admissions HAS started reviewing international applicants according to those international students who have posted about their status changes. I don't think it is an exact science where they finish all the US apps before starting on the international- I'm sure it is concurrent.)

(Ponydance- you may find some info on the NTSAF page-
USC Norman Topping Student Aid Fund
They also have an email you can contact.)

Good luck all!

about the Norman Topping scholarship, if you were notified about it, does that mean anything in regards to your admission status?...my status has been "done with preliminary review" since 1/11.

i know u obv. got admitted if ur notified about the presidential or trustee or town and gown but what about ones like this?
its supposed to be based on community awareness, financial need, volunteer efforts, first generation status, and extraordinary circumstances
