Ah, thank you for the replies =). I did not make a note on the envelope indicating that the teacher evaluations would be inside though, and I think its already sent. Hopefully this wont do any significant damage!

Also I have one last question. For the online application I couldn't enter my grades as they were greyed out. I got the impression that the grades were ment to be mailed through form 3 (academic history) only. And I already submitted the online application. I havent sent in form 3 yet, but will plan to on November 29 (the mail opens that day, right?). Is this okay?

Thank you, beeish. Yea, I've checked with some other students, interviews are required for some scholarships but USC will cover the traveling expenses which is cool!

dou, the trustee and presidential scholarship letter we got last year clearly stated that one must attend the interview or they will not be considered for the scholarship. There was nothing that implied that a phone interview could be conducted instead, so the person who did the interview over the phone must have made a special request.

As for them reimbursing the travel expense, last year they only paid for domestic flights so even my flight from Vancouver Canada was not reimbursed. dou, are the students whose travel expense were paid for from your country?

it's also a chance to visit the school and if you get the scholarship, it's all worth it.

senior year grades

1st quarter grades are already out, but they're not official
1st semester grades, which come out in late january, are official and stay on my transcript

when the usc app asks for senior year grades, is it ok if I put "N/A" in the grades section for Term 1 (and for that matter, Term 2 as well) b/c semester grades are not finalized?
if not, what should I do?

As soon as you have your first semester grades, the transcript is to be sent by the GC with the "mid year report". Some applicants can receive acceptance before admissions even get the mid year report, in late January/early February, but for most the 1st semester grades are considered.

For now, you don't have senior grades to put on the app, so N/A is fine. (I don't remember that they actually asked for senior year grades, but maybe I'm thinking of the UC app, which just required listing the "in progress" and "planned" courses)

For the "My Fin Aid & Documents" link, should anyone with a USC ID be able to login to the OASIS website https://afa.usc.edu/AFA/pages/register.jsf)?

I spoke to someone at the admissions offices and I was told that it is for current students only?

I have a question about the Application.

# Summer programs, conferences or special events attended, travel experience:

For ^ that section, the "travel experience," can that be like some family vacations i've been on to a different country? or is it for peopel who go to poor/underdeveloped countries to volunteer?

and for "confereces or special events" - would that include events /conferences where some CEO comes and talks? or is it academically limited?

thanks in advance
