Travel experience can be anything. It does not have to be volunteer. My guess as to why this question is asked because there are a lot of international students at USC.

Thank you Columbia_Student for your answer!
So basically, if i don't have much insight on the travel experiences I had, i shouldn't include?
It's kind of pointless for the adcoms to read about different trips that were just for fun, right?

I applied by the scholarship deadline (Dec. 1) and was just wondering if anyone knows what the timeline looks like for when USC will release its decisions regarding admission decisions as well as scholarships? When should we expect to hear back, even if we end up not getting a scholarship? You'd think that after having our applications for an extra month and a half before the Jan. deadline, especially without ED applications to review, they should finish ours early, right?

It really depends. If you are going to interview for a scholarship, you will find out about it late January/early February. If you are getting a smaller scholarship, or something else, then it all depends. You could find out any time between February and April.

If I submitted my application itself by the scholarship deadline, but the rest of the stuff(recs, transcripts, scores, etc) comes a bit later, will I still be considered for scholarships?

| Yes, as long as the application was submitted on time and the supplemental material is received "shortly" thereafter, you will still be considered for scholarships.

Would 19 days qualify as "shortly" thereafter? I was able to submit my application and turn in the transcript and test score by December 1st. However, my recommendation wasn't turned in until December 20.
Is there still a chance I would still be considered for scholarships or is 19 days too long of a a time?

We really don't know that. I would call admissions to find out.

Sorry, but when you are talking about "forms," are you referring to Form 3: Academic History.

| No one here can really say for sure. Basically it is just another tick mark on your resume but it's really the whole package they evaluate. I do know a finalist who was not admitted.

Could please anyone help?
Does USC require a current college Dean’s Report from transfer applicants? This Dean’s Report is required by almost all colleges as part of the transfer application, and yet I have not found such a Dean’s Report form in the USC 2009 transfer application.
Also, is there a cover sheet for faculty recommendation for transfer applicants?
Thank you so much for any advice and help!

I just submitted my application today. Now in order to complete those 3 forms I must print, do i have to wait for my ID number cards to come in the mail or can I just write my number on the top of those papers? I go back to school on Monday.
