Honors in Multimedia Scholarship

i got invited to apply for the Institute for Multimedia Literacy @ Annenberg. Does anybody know more about this program?

I got the same thing. I don't know a thing about it (if you hadn't posted this, I would have). I wonder what it's like to do this and Thematic Option simultaneously.

LoL well it sounds really cool just from the title--really hands-on type thing and not just "extra work." if going to USC meant being in such a program than it would factor into my UCLA vs. USC decision. Unfortunately, from waht it sounds like, you have to APPLY for the program and get in, and I don't know if they let you know if you've been accepted before or after May 1st---and by then I have to choose which school i'm going to!

Doesn't hurt to apply ASAP and see if they tell you that you got in before May 1.

Does anyone know exactly what the program entails? Specifically, is it a lump of extra work, or do you take the courses instead of the typical GEs? I'm asking this because the program requires 20 units, which is more than most minors entail (~16 units), and i'd ultimately much rather take a minor if I had to choose between the two.
