USC--Food and Fun

Are there any current students or alumni who can comment on the food and types of EC activities that are on campus at USC? I'd like to get a sense of the atmosphere outside of the classroom. Thanks for the help.

I've eaten there. It wasn't bad, but I can imagine getting sick of it after a week. They put garlic in everything. On the plus side, the chefs all call you "sir." "Sir, please use the tongs to pick up the pizza."

when i visited, we got to eat their food. It was awesome, in my opinion, good as UCLA's food. The social life is good. People's say like its party..it isn't. Lots of clubs and outside activities. awesome place.

Food in the dorms is ok...pretty good for dorm food, but still gets old after a while. Commons has pretty good options, that's why if you can talk your parents into one of the meal plans that lets you spend money anywhere, and not just the cafeteria's youll be happier.

Types of ECs: Greek life(by far the biggest social influence), professional/academic/leadership orgs (usually not all that social, though some are), clubs (fairly social-check out the involvement fair the first week of classes), and your other random college stuff.

You won't have a problem meeting people at USC, if that is what you are asking. I have always found most USC students very friendly and welcoming.
