I recently found this website (http://www.campusdirt.com) that gives you the downlow (or is it "lowdown"?) on campuses across the nation. Albeit, you'll have to sign up to check out rankings and stuff, but it's free. USC is ranked 8th! Pretty cool.
And here's a reason why our student life is so great: tonight is Senior Fountain Run night. We have something like 26 fountains on campus, and people always love to fountain hop, and tonight seniors (plus my junior roommate, and almost me) are meeting up to all go do it together, many decked out in SC gear. Ahh, USC. Good times.
This was my first time seeing the senior fountain run.
... I'm still in awe.
I haven't seen that many crazy concentrated on campus (and DPS didn't care!) since homecoming. And as a little fyi, it's 29 fountains if you count the new one behind Tutor Hall.
And yes, campusdirt is much more favorable to USC than Princeton Review polls. I don't even think we're on any of theirs relating to school spirit. Sure, Michigan packs more people into the Big House than we do the Coliseum, but on the other hand, our school pride extends after graduation and is shown by helping new grads get their respective feet in the door.
I'll take the latter any day.

Don't apologize! Everyone here thinks it's fun, too.
We have tons of fountains around campus. It's kind of USC's "thing". Everything running from gorgeous old fountains to abstract ones to simple ones. They're everywhere. So students like to go fountain hopping, where they just jump into a fountain, and then they run to another, and repeat. Usually it's just some friends doing it together, but Thursday night it was for all seniors. It wasn't an event put on by USC or anything, just students having fun. So basically it was just tons of students playing around in fountains.
