usc undergrad alumni, better shot into usc grad school?

i think there is a degree of being favored, but i'm trying to gauge how far being an alumni carries you in the admissions process. i think we can rule out the people who graduated with a 2.5 expecting into get into usc law.

what do you guys think?

From watching S's friends apply to grad school, it looks like being an alumni does not carry ANY weight in USC graduate admissions.
