Spring admits and housing??

I just got an email about housing, but I'm only a spring admit?? Did any other spring admits get this as well?? it talked about May housing information, but that would only pertain to fall I thought??

If no one has the answer, try calling USC housing....I've called them a couple of times with specific questions & they've been very helpful.

btw - you're not "only" a spring admit You're an admitted Trojan!!!

Did you actually apply for housing? Maybe the only people who received the email applied?

You can't apply until July.
I went ahead and applied early because from what I read they made it seem like they would just put your application in the Spring Admit pile.
But I emailed them in reply to that housing mass email they sent out and they told me that I would have to have selected "Spring 2010" option when applying but the only one available was "Fall 2009/Spring 2010" so they deleted my application and told me to reapply in July when the "Spring 2010" option would show up.

My D was a transfer spring admit for Jan 2009. She didn't get info about housing until later. Perhaps freshmen get info earlier. I agree that Housing is generally helpful if you give them a call when they're open. They WILL place freshmen spring admits in housing as long as deadlines are met. For transfers, it's much tougher to get housing.

sleepwelldarling i did the exact same thing as you!! they made it seem like u could apply as early as u want and then they would set aside ur application for spring as being july 1st...but then they just now told me that if i don't get bumped up to fall then i have to reapply?? great....

yeahhh cause i thought, well if they're going to set it aside, might as well apply now so that i'll be early in line for spring admits assuming that's first come fist served as well
but nopeeee they told me to reapply and that they'll have to delete my app
there goes wasted time and $30 *rolls eyes*
