Al-Sabea is one of the easiest professors I've had. He always holds a review the lecture before a test and basically tells you what is going to be on the test (as in which page and what part to study). Although it was an easy A, I found that I didn't learn as much and wasn't as interested in the course (because Al-Sabea's lectures were not very good) as I was in ECON 205, where I had a more difficult professor that actually made the lectures very interesting and challenging.

i second busiman. Class was relatively easy. Might be even easier for some people who had really nice TA's, since your TA does the grading for your section. I probably went to class a good 6 times during the semester, including midterms and finals.

Shahnawaz is so much smarter than Al-sabea.

Went to Al-Sabs 203/205 for the tests only. Studied by myself at length. 97% final score in each.

Shah teaches so much more and writes pretty multi-variable calculus.

Al-sabea has knowledge of farm economics. Shah international trade.

If you have any brains/work hard, take Shah. The other class is too easy and you will be hurt by a narrow curve. Also learning and such.

I heard that Shannawaz has multiple choice questions for his midterms so does anyone know if he's easy as well?

I took Econ 203 with Michael Sproul. It looks like he's not one of your options. I definitely loved the class, though. So I hope you all take up at least a bit of an interest in the subject

Al-Sabea has.. interesting lectures. The only important lectures (I think) are the ones right before the midterm where he blatantly gives you what's going to be on the exam. I think he does this for the final too.

The only way I learned anything is through my discussion TA and reading the book myself - so that's that. Easy class if you actually study for it.
