Cal Grant question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally a new thread that isn't about asking for chance...

Anyway, I'm a spring admit, and you know you have to renew your Cal Grant every year right? In my high school senior year, my high school filed for Cal Grant for me. I'm going to a CC in the fall right now. Does anyone has any idea how and who renew the Cal Grant for you??????

Hi xcherrykatiex! Sorry no one has answered your question yet, but it is kind of a tricky one. Renewing your CalGrant after your freshman year is no problem - USC handles it for you - all you have to do is fill out the FAFSA before March 2nd. Your situation is different, though. If you are using the CalGrant at your community college for Fall semester, you will have to do a school change for USC Spring '10 on WebGrants for students https://mygrantinfo.csac.ca.gov/logon.asp If you are not using your CalGrant for Fall '09 I strongly recommend you call or email USC financial aid about it to be sure you have done everything you need to do to keep your CalGrant in reserve until then. Good luck, and be sure to post what you find out to help other students who might have the same situation.
