BUAD 250a

Anyone recommend taking the Lecture-Discussion class (the online one and lecture one) or take the Lecture and Discussion one where you have to go to both classes?

Sorry if I'm not making any sense..

Thanks!

It really doesn't matter which one you take. Everyone who's taking 250a can watch the online lectures (regardless of if they're in the lecture or online version) and Merle also says that if you're in the online class, you can go to the lectures. So it really doesn't matter.

I'm in 250a right now, but I registered for the real class/discussion sections. If I had to do it over again, I would probably just register for the online class just to open up time in my class schedule.

Honestly, I found that I watch the online lectures way more than actually attending the actual class. You can fast forward Merle too because he does talk slow in the actual lectures and tends to put me to sleep because of it. If you personally don't want to watch the lectures online, you can go to any of the live lectures.

Just to repeat akalboy, it really doesn't matter. However, for me I would've signed up for the online section. The only danger is that most people in online sections tend to fall behind very quickly because they get lazy with watching the lectures. Accounting is not something you want to fall behind in btw.
