Atmosphere?

How is the atmosphere at SoCal? I'm from a farmland suburb in NJ and I am interested in this school, but does it have a huge wild party scene or is there a quiet, calmer side to the school? I know its athletics and academics are pretty good, but how are the people? Is it big on frats and stuff like that? Thanks.

I believe I read that roughly 20%-25% of the campus is involved in greek life. This means that the majority of students aren't involved in fraternities and sororites. There is definitely a quiet calmer side to the campus that will be found by anyone looking for it. SC is extremely diverse and full of all sorts of students. If you're really interested in the school, I would recommend flying over for a visit if you can ever make the trip.
