I saw the decisions thread posted and I about jumped out of my skin to see that responses were out... Checked my e-mail and status app check and nothing... Was almost disappointed by the lack of scholarship opportunity when I realized nobody has gotten their decision yet lol

. Just renews the anxiousness I've had over the past 4-5 months... Anyone else think the same thing?

Also, Discuss the thread in here, as the decisions thread is only posted for stats, which I hope everyone can abide to considering that it helps future applicants see individuals who were accepted/rejected and their whole application, not just the 28-33 ACT range that we get on college board.

Sorry, Ligtja! I wasn't sure if I could get the Stats thread just right, so I wanted to get a couple of days jump on it. In the meantime for those waiting who plan to apply for financial aid, be sure you have your FAFSA Pin and have told your parents the deadline is Feb 2nd.

My parents dont get their forms til late january =(, I just hope they're responsible enough to get it done in time lol.

^ be SURE they know they can submit the FAFSA and CSS/Profile using estimates and update the FAFSA later after they file their taxes. DON'T miss the Feb 2nd deadline for the FAFSA and CSS/Profile if you need financial aid to attend. (Sorry to nag, but it is SO important!)

I also can't wait to hear! It's nervewrecking that we might find out in the next few days!

I remember last year watching people of this forum posting their results thinking that in a years time that'll be me anxiously awaiting a decision! It seems to have come around really quickly...no doubt the next couple of months will go really slowly though!

Is it true that if you apply by the scholarship deadline but fail to qualify for a scholarship, you will receive a letter in the mail basically saying that you didn't get any money but your application will still be considered for admission?

norcalryan, soadquake981: I believe so. Last year I think people were posting that they had received a letter saying just that so hopefully it will be the same this year.
