"Free Electives"

In the McCombs strudent handbook it says I need 5 hours of "free" electives. Am I correct in assuming this includes Physical Education courses? I have a big break in my schedule and was saw that fencing was open. However, I wouldn't want to take it if it didn't count for anything.

PED courses won't count towards your business degree, or the 5 hour of free electives you see there. You'll have to take some 5 hour elective (maybe a language class) or take two 3 hour classes although that would be going 2 over..wouldnt hurt. You can also try to minor in accounting MIS or something to make them count towards your minor. If you come across any good upper division non-business elective besides human sexuality or childrens literature, do let me know.
