I don't know if you guys remember me, but I posted a lot of chance me threads haha:) I got accepted into A&M Electrical Engineering, but the cost of living is quite high.. and I live in Austin but my rank is 3/25 and my SAT Math (700) + Reading (610) = 1310, so we were really doubting acceptance from UT, and that SAT gives auto admittance into A&M.
But today I got my acceptance on the application.. surprisingly! And instead of getting into my first major choice Math.. I got into CS. Either way, Math/Programming (Java,C++) is what I am for sure best at so I'm happy.
Just goes to show that people out of the top 8% (or whatever ruling it is at the time) can get accepted!:)
