appeal status on status check

Hey, I just turned my appeal in 1 week ago, I'm wondering if as soon as they make a result, will it show on the online status check, or will you only know the result if you call them or receive a mail?

You receive by mail like a week after he turned it in. My friend with good Sats, so-so GPA didn't even get summer with appeals.

neither of my friends got anything with appeals. one of them barely out of top 10% with state band, etc. the other barely out of top 10% also, already has 30 hrs of college at local CC with 4.0, 4 yrs in track, decent sat, etc.

one of them apparently talked to the lady who does the appeals and she said that appeals is only if you have some type of drastic change to your application. otherwise, you still wont get in most likely.
