How many people move off-campus or switch dorms between the fall and spring semesters

I am wanting to move to a different dorm next semester, but I am wondering how many people move to off-campus housing between the fall and spring semesters. Have y'all ever heard of anybody switching dorms in-between? Thanks.

What's your reason for moving? I just moved from Jester to Kinsolving this past weekend. I do not know anything about moving between semesters, but I don't see how it would be different from moving in the middle of a semester. A lot of people move all the time because of roommate conflicts, etc.

Moving around (on-campus) happens relatively often.

actually not as often

I would like to disagree.

It actually is a very small percentage of students who willingly move unless they have to. Also it is not easy at all especially if you are going off campus.

this was taken from http://www.utluxuryapartments.com:
...it talks about how most leases are 12 month leases that are centered around the university of texas. It also states that usually only the leftovers are used to do shorter term leases.
Bottom line is that your pickings willl be slim and theres no guarantee that it will suit you.
So unless you have to move i would just stay put. If anything , check that website out. It is very, very informative. Give the professionals or advisors a call first. That way you will be well informed. Hopes this helps.

cheers.
