Ethnicity: Asian American

W 540

1790

AP Micro:4
AP Macro: 5

I was born in El Paso but my parents moved "back" to Taiwan when I was only 29 days old.

I am currently applying from an International school in Taiwan as U.S citizen (out of state student).

SEs
Senior: Student Council President
Junior: Basketball team manager
Rotary Exchange Student

I attended in Taiwanese public schools until I was 16 (finished first year of high school), and I went to upstate New York for a year(finished a school year as a 10th grader).

Please chance me for UT Austin Business school and liberal arts(economics)

Thank you very much

Thank you very much.

30-40% is really low. It's a guaranteed no for business, and you would have to have some outstanding essays/extenuating circumstances for liberal arts or the other schools.

It is hard to say how UT will use rank from an International School.

thank you everyone.

so my biggest problem is my class rank?

How about my GPA and SAT are they okay for liberal arts?

the average SAT score for UT Austin last year was 1225. I am 25 points higher(1250), however it does not affect mean much I guess.

I will retake the SAT 1 again in the December. If I do better in the December, will the the admission officers consider my new score? The deadline is 12/15.

Thank you very much
