Hi there,
Does anyone know what kind of aid UVM offers to OOS kids? My D is from NJ, has a 2010 on SATs, 3rd in her class (of 125), weighted GPA of 4.0. She is Arab-American and it will be mentioned in her essays.

Can a kid like this get any merit aid from UVM? I am hoping so, because she fell in love with it and can't imagine going anyplace else...

I had a 3.4 unweighted gpa and 31 act (out of state) and got $6500 per year. I've heard of other people getting up to $7500, which she probably would receive. (This is in merit, I did not apply for financial aid.)

Yes I believe $7500 is about the maximum merit aid most OOS students saw this year.
