SATs

Does UVA accept the highest (mix & match) of all SAT sections or do they just take the highest score from one sitting? Thanks!

Thanks! Do you have any idea what the average out-of-state applicants' SAT score is?

I think it is ~1400. My memory may be failing me, but I recall the number 1410.

U.Va. will be considering the writing as heavily as the math and verbal, so don't rule yourself out if your combined M/V is lower but you have a high writing, or, conversely, be wary if you've got a high M/V but terrible writing.
