chances?

I applied ED (in-state) and I know the decisions have been made, or mostly, but I'd like some feedback...

SAT: 2010
ACT: 30

ECS: Head drum major for a 200 member marching band, marching band for 4 years, 13 years of piano lessons, 6 of flute, 3 years varsity tennis..planning on a 4th (went to the state championship each year so far) 3 years of French Club (reporter 10th grade, treasurer 11th), French Honor Society President 12th grade, weekly tennis lessons, worked at a country club for the past year (tennis courts), and volunteering at a local Rehab Center

honors/awards- I've made All-District band 4 out of the 5 times I auditioned; last year I placed 5th out of 100 flutes from about 20 counties...National Merit Commended Student, Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, Many music awards (most within my high school band)

I attend the Governor's School for Math and Technology, a prestigious half-day school with about 100 students from 4 or 5 surrounding counties
Courses: Lab Calculus (gov school, so not AP) Dual Physics (again, gov school), Mentorship, Wind Ensemble, Instrumental Ensemble, AP English, Dual government (AP not offered) and AP French
GPA: 4.2, as of last semester last year

You've got a pretty good shot. Your test scores are above average for an instate applicant and your ECs seem to be pretty good. How's you rank? Your GPA and courselpad seem to be good enough, but they don't tell anything about how you compare to your peers. Anyway, I'd guess that you'll get in.

I am ranked 1/243, but in my county, everyone with a 4.0+ is considered "number 1"...however, i'd guess that i'm in the top 5%

Personally, I hate ranking policies like that, but that's beside the point. Your rank is also very good, so i'd say that you're in.
