someone from my school who got in yale... got nominated and is in final round. but she doesnt wanna go to uva even if she gets it

You have to understand that that happens, though. Because the school will nominate you even if they know you will probably never go to UVA - just because they think you`ll be the strongest candidate. That`s exactly what happened to me.
