anyone hear about waitlist?

so has anyone gotten of the waitlist yet, or heard of anyone who has gotten off? and if not, then does anyone have any idea when we will hear back?

vinyard06, did you get in? Did you end up going to UVA? If so, was there housing for you and how was getting into classes?

nothing here. I think UVA is pretty late in notifying - too bad because it does affect housing and registration for classes.

drats. i feel bad about getting a roomate for william and mary if i dont end up going there and leaving them. so i guess i'l just do random. ugh this really sucks....

roxor - chances are VERY low for those waitlisted at UVA (3000 on wailist, maybe 2000 accept a spot, sometimes less than 50 accepted). I would go ahead and try to get matched with a roomate at W&M (an excellent school!). If UVA takes you - treat it as a nice surprise and deal with it then. Try to start bonding with the school that wants you!

yeah to reiterate what toneranger said, do not place any hope in getting in off the waitlist. It is best to treat it as if you were rejected because the chances are extremely slim.

haha oh yea, I'm already siking myself up for William and Mary, which is fine, because I already know a lot of people there and such. Yea, last year there were 1800 people on the waitlist and 83 got off, im not expecting anything. Thanks for the advice.
