I have posted this on the Miami site as well. My friend's son is a freshman at Miami and has been asked to enter the honors program there. He has also applied for transfer to UVA and been put on the waitlist. Before he pushes the UVA transfer option- does anyone have any input as to whether he should stay at Miami in the honors program or go to UVA.

UVA's a better school. I was offered what amounted to a full ride to Miami when I was a senior, but I chose UVA. It was not a particularly difficult decision. All Miami really has going for it is the fact that it's in Miami...
