when is UVA housing due?

I haven't heard anything from UVA since I sent my deposit about 1 and a half weeks ago. Is there a deadline for guaranteed housing? Also, do most roomate requests go through?

Housing is guaranteed for all first years. In fact, I believe they're required to live on grounds. From what I've heard, nearly all roommate requests are OK'd.

Housing is guaranteed for all first years, but there is a deadline for housing applications. If you don't complete it by the deadline there's a greater chance that you may be placed in Hereford.

You won't get your housing assignment until mid July.

First Year students are required to live in University housing. To be included in the Random Assignment process, First Year students must complete and submit their application on-line no later than June 16, 2006. This is the only opportunity you will have to make roommate requests. Applications received after this date will be assigned wherever space is available.

thats from the website ^ so...it sounds like if you don't make the deadline you're pretty much going to live where no one else wants to, but it's ok because we still have like a month and a half!

Yes, Echols Scholars need to submit an application. You've got plenty of time, though, and I think it can all be done online. Have you checked myUVa?
