Summer Courses

I am going to be attending the Rainey Academic program this summer which allows me to take 2 classes during the summer session. I am going to be a first-year this fall and am not very sure about what classes are going to be good to take for the summer session. Any suggestions? I am going to apply to the commerce school if that makes a difference.

What is the Rainey Academic program?

If you're going to be applying to the comm school, I'd suggest comm 180, comm 201, econ 201, econ 202, or stat 212 (if you want to get some comm requirements out of the way).

If you want to take summer classes, they're open enrollment. Here's the link:

How are classes during the summer session set up? Are they like the classes that I will be attending this fall or are they extremely hard and intense?

I signed up for Era of the American Revolution with John Ragosta and American Foreign policy with Spencer Bakich. Has anyone had these professor or taken this class? If you did, how was it?

They're supposed to be fairly laid back.
