Jobs

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to get a job on grounds when you don't have work study. I have looked on monstertrak, and for the non work study results there were only two or three positions, like devliery person, which I don't really want. I have e-mailed some of the libraries, but the only ones that I have heard back from have told me that their positions are for work study only. So if anyone has any suggestions on what I could do, that would be a big help.

Thanks!

You can work for Intramural/Recreational Sports (IMS) as an official or an attendant at one of the gyms.

Drive for UTS - they get paid pretty well.
You can work at Greenberry's (a starbucks type dining option thats located a few places around grounds).
You can be an ITC lab consultant.
You can work at any of the restaurants on the corner. (though thats not technically on grounds...)
You can be a research assistant in a lab.
You can do a lot of PSYC/ECON experiments which tend to pay anywhere from $8/hr to ...well, a lot of money (especially econ).

Those are just a few that I thought of immediately, I'm sure there are others.
