How easy would it be to transfer from msu to uva after 2 years? I would want to transfer into uva's business school. What gpa, etc, would I need to be considered by uva?

Well...I just got done jumping through all the ropes of transfer admission and I know a fair amount about the competition. First, Ill state the obvious: Youre from out-of-state and slots into uva will be more competitive for you compared to in-state folk. Also, UVA's business school is very competitive to transfer to. It is a top notch program and many people want in.

Noone on this forum can give you a GPA where youll be a "shoe-in" and safe from rejection. UVA just doesnt pick its students based soley on GPA. However, I would atleast shoot for over a 3.5 IMO. Other factors are going to be accounted for - your passion for business, your unique experiences, and your essays. I would recommend getting very involved in your university. Use this oppurtunity to see if business is really your career choice and take relevant courses. Challenge yourself and UVA will respect you for it.

Good luck!
