Hey, I'm trying to study for exams and figure out where to store my stuff, and that of some of my future roommates, during the time when the dorms close and my apartment lease starts. So I apologize right now for not doing a better search on this before now, but it's sort of down to the wire. Will someone please recommend an easy storage facility that's popular with other students.
Thanks.
i used a mini-storage off of Avon extended one summer -- prices weren't bad, if you had a way to move you stuff there easily (large SUV, trailer, etc). Just search mini-storage in Cville. there's one off 29N by Pizza hut too.
A few of my friends who go to UVa use this service as do some of my other friends that go to W/M. According to my friend, she's had no problems with them and she used them for 3 summers. They specialize in sumer storage for students so I think this would be a good option. They pick up your things and deliver as well. If not, you could always rent a room at a public storage facility.

Haha, I've not even conceived of where I'm going to stay during the summer of 2009 ... I want to minimise as much travel as possible (driving back home will be really costly) -- but I suppose going back home will be cheaper?
