Hi everyone, I have sent in my enrollment letter on April 22 and been waiting to hear back from UVA since then. I am just wondering when it it that I should be expecting to receive any information from the University?

Oh, it will seem like a life time!! But, I bet you should hear somewhere around May 12th or so. Does your on-line site show that they have received your deposit? If yes, you can probably start working on getting your computing ID stuff going, then housing, etc.

Now, it's fuzzy with me since it was a year ago for me, but I think if you log on to your application site, that's where you'll see notification of deposit receipt.
If I remember correctly, once you see that message, you are good to go in terms of getting ID #'s and such.
Sorry, the details are such a blur.

I tried filling out the housing application but it says I was not found. I don't know why since I activated my id and password and all that and my deposit is received and processed.

Currently, UVa has a main computer system with most offices operating their own shadow system that "talks" to the main system. When the Office of Admission logs your deposit it, the admission shadow system will relay the information to the central system that night. From there, each other office's shadow system has to get the data. This takes a few days.

Just because admission has your deposit logged doesn't mean housing is ready to process your application.

Be patient. You aren't at a disadvantage if you just wait for the official information to arrive.
