financial aid for returning students still hasn't come out
...From what the FA office has been telling me.

Seriously, it's late into the summer, I thought it was supposed to be posted in May and this is scaring me. Is it the economy that's delaying decisions?

Mine was posted on the SIS a little over a week ago, but I don't think everyone's are necessarily posted simultaneously. I'm an AccessUVA kid, so I don't know if that has anything to do with when aid packages are posted or not.

It's always very late. Aid is supposed to be posted by the end of the month.

Have you looked in ISIS at your account balance for the Fall semester? I know one year when it came out late it was reflected there before I got my award letter.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't realize SIS was the new ISIS. Things are definitely a-changing!

I'm pretty sure mine just hasn't come out yet because when I click on accept/decline awards in SIS, it says that for 2010 "award access not yet available"

It's always been late. Last year, I started a thread on the same topic. I remember I eventually got my award letter in mid July.

Mine doesn't even say "not yet available" -- it says "no self-service access for this year".

I don't think SFS is mailing anything anymore. For the incoming class, all awards were posted on the SIS. Have you logged into your SIS account to see if your package is there?

When I click "Accept/decline awards", it says "award access not available".

When I click "view financial aid", it says

User-defined text (14409,551)

You have no financial aid awards available for viewing in this aid year.

Well they said my bill is available on QuikPay lol but nothing new is showing up there.
