After receiving one of the latest registration times at orientation last week, I'm a little nervous about only being signed up for one out of several classes I had hoped to take. Is swapping classes fairly easy before school actually begins? I think it was touched on briefly, but is there a specific day that you can start doing this on the SIS?

August 5th, though typically the server crashes from too many people signing on. I don't know how the new system (SIS - used to be ISIS) will respond (hopefully better).
You just need to be patient and during the first week of classes you should be able to switch into better things. Many people "class shop" the first week.

The operations calendar ( Operations Calendar at the University of Virginia ) doesn't say, but I remember it being 7am (when ISIS opened) my first year. Since there is maintenance 5-7am for SIS I would assume it to be 7am.
