| Any results from the Priority Select Admissions?
My son is expecting to hear soon, but he has not gotten anything official.

well i submitted my online app october 13th (friday the 13th haha) so i'm guessing my school stuff must have gotten there a week or so later (i live in jersey). it was about a month, or the "four weeks" the priority select application promises.
best of luck!!

I heard around the end of November-beginning of December, and I applied in late October.
I do have one friend who applied who still hasn't heard, and she applied in mid-November. I think it's kind of a tossup.

I applied in mid September and found out about mid October, about a month later. Good news, with a personal note about my writing sample .
Any idea when we learn about financial aid?

S just got his admissions letter today, application was completed at the end of November. Also included a nice comment about his essay.

I'm also wondering if any of you have heard yet regarding financial aid. I see that at many schools it comes within a few weeks of acceptance. D was accepted with the priority application in November.

I was accepted early on too, and I was hoping for news of scholarship money.
I heard rumors that it would be out around February (wow! this month), and I hope they're correct.

Ursinus doesn't like me. Though I did get a letter saying that I'm considered for a Ursinus Merit Scholarship, I never recieved any confimation for an acceptance.

coot66 - my D received an email about being considered for a merit scholarship several days ago, please come to campus on the 24th for an interview (we live 1500 miles away, ouch), but had not heard anything about actually being admitted. It didn't make sense. Then she got her letter yesterday saying she was admitted.
I think you will soon be liked by Ursinus.

I got my acceptance letter a few days ago (Thursday). Guess the scholarship letter is sent out first. I'm not sure if I'll go on the interview; though it's not a 1500 mile drive, it will take a few hours. And I'm not really sure if Ursinus is a good college. Can anyone post positive things about it?

You applied but you don't know anything about it?

There's a difference between 'not knowing anything about it' and asking for some positive info -- especially for someone who applied but lives 1500 miles away.
Quite a few of us turn to these boards for additional info garnered by others and to get a further perspective.
My older daughter is attending Hartwick in NY with a girl from North Dakota. This student from North Dakota never set foot in NY state before, let alone see Hartwick. She was accepted into the honors program with an offer of merit aid, and, to a degree, she relied on the insights and opinions of others.
Unfortunately 'Coot66', we have not yet visited Ursinus and I can't offer info, but I am certain there are others here who could give you some insight.
Congrats and good luck.
