The Declaration

Have you guys received this mailing from Newcomb Hall called "The Declaration". Basically, they want you to submit some personal details and a photo of you to them in order to create a first-year directory. Participation fee is $5 without ordering a copy, otherwise it's $17.96.

Me thinks it's a bit of a rip-off. Have you guys replied yet? The deadline is like 22nd June.

yea, its really not worth it
the declaration itself is the semi-underground newspaper and sometimes its worth reading an article or two, but i don't see any reason to pay

it is a rip off...they say it is a way to find other students and to keep in touch, but you don't give your ph #, email, or dorm...so how does that work?
