He/She might need more than just tuition considering that Vanderbilt costs close to 60k per year.

Still waiting as well. I intend on calling mid-afternoon tomorrow if I still haven't heard. I have a lot of things that I need to do that are dependent upon the outcome of this, which unfortunately isn't looking so great.

I still have not received an email. I am wondering if I could have been taken out of the scholarship's selection pool, as I was picked as an alternate for the Carrell Family Scholarship.

give them a call or send an email to your Vandy regional rep. I remember once our son got zip response from Emory and turned out they had lost his application for merit scholarships and didn't even consider him. And Wm and Mary had put him in a finalist pool but didn't notify him somehow or another. Better to pursue in my opinion to find out the outcome at every college. hang in there.

I contacted them, but no response yet. I'm just thinking at this point that they must have forgotten my application altogether or something

Well, we'll see, but since I didn't receive a letter in the mail, I'm assuming I did not get the scholarship. Oh well!

I don't think everyone who won the scholarship got the letter yet - I didn't even though I won it - so don't give up hope yet!

Chance: You ae not alone. No emails for DS either. Do you live in the SE? I'm wondering if the notifications are being sent out according to region, and the southeast is the last to know...?

Well, I'm in the Midwest, but all my friends at school who applied to vanderbilt all received their notifications at the same time @ around 7 P.M. on Friday, which is why I'm worried. It's good to know that I'm not alone in the wait though! Good luck to everyone who hasn't received their notification yet, as I don't think I stand much of a chance anyways

I'm from the Midwest as well and have not heard back about the scholarship. I might contact the admissions department in a few days if I still don't hear back.

I was one of the people who didn't get an email on friday in terms of whether or not I received the scholarship. I'll post about my experience once I get my admissions decision but my advice to you all is to call them!

unodosytracy, please do post your experience because I am confused for my daughter who has also received no word either way. I think she must not have submitted it properly...

As Faline2 mentioned, files get lost or overlooked. This happened with another school's scholarship program and was rectified after an inquiry was made.

If you have not received a response and you submitted a scholarship application, email your admissions counselor.
