January 27th. SAT scores

Does Vanderbilt accept January 27th. SAT scores for Regular Decision applicants???

Help me out!

Directly taken from the school's website:

"For students applying through the Regular Decision process, the preferred last dates to take the SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT are the December test dates."

unlikely, but worth a shot: note that they say "preferred last dates." talk to your local rep and see if they can make an exception.

Vanderbilt is a large institution, but it has been trying to narrow it's application pool over the past few years to attract a higher achieving admissions pool. that being said, they have preferred test dates, I feel personally, that will promote a time when they can look at SAT scores and make a general cut-off. though there may not be any cut-off actually in place, it is highly reasonable that Vanderbilt admissions will just reject people with SAT scores below 550 on average on each section.

So if your scores are reasonably good before that january date, you should be fine. But if they aren't I have no diea how admissions will react.
