C'mon., how long does it take the administration to either accept or reject you? Just like a lot of other students, we applied early. Other schools tell you by February, but what in the world is taking Vandy so long? Yes or no? No bogus excuses, it's not rocket science

First off the other schools that answer in Feb. usually have a higher acceptance rate than Vandy. Vandy's application rate went up about 30% this year thus acceptance rate will be in the 25% range not including ED admits.
Second Vandy spends alot of time trying to mold a class vs just accepting students off of grades.
Third some students have already been accepted but these are few and scholarship admits.
Fourth Vandy size of only approx. 1000 admits for RD from approx 15000 apps.

Vandy does their homework.
