Chances of getting in E.D.

I'm applying E.D. to Vassar and want to know what my chances are.
Male
GPA:92
ACT:32
My sister went to Vassar
Clubs/Activities:
Environmental club 3 years (Vice-President for 2 years)
S.A.D.D. (students against destructive decisions) 4 years (president senior year)
National Honors Society
Multiple National Latin Exam awards
School Basketball team (JV and Varsity, captain of JV:coaches award, defensive player award, sportsmanship award)
County Basketball team-over 300 people try out, 12 make it, very competitive, team sends players to division 1 schools each year
Attended multiple invitational basketball camps and won awards
work at a Bear Rehabilitation Center
won an $11,000 award to do environmental research in Thailand
invited to attend an international conference in Germany about environmental protection

I'm worried that my GPA is to low and that they wont care about my sports since Vassar is not a sporty school

You look like a good candidate to me. It looks like you are an environmentalist, or at least aspiring to be one. I believe the faculty at Vassar is comprised of more than one environmental activist (I know one of them personally), so you may be more attractive for that, particularly if you are interested in the environmental sciences. Oh, and while Vassar may not be "sporty", they do have Div. III teams and they are likely not averse to winning!

I'd say you're an excellent candidate... your GPA is fine, your ACT score is where it should be, and your ECs are solid. I'd recommend, if you're planning on playing basketball in college, to talk to the coach of the team here at Vassar. It might not be a sports powerhouse, but it still does like to have top athletes so that it can compete at the Division III level.

You have excellent chances. Focused ECs (environmentalism and basketball), nice GPA, good ACT score...And male. And legacy.

GREAT chances.

Vassar sports are actually very competitive. Go on-line and read about some of the recent achievements in men's tennis for instance. They would love a good basketball player and you will be treated with great respect and get to play unlike other Div. 3 schools where you may not make the team as readily. Go for it
