rejected from ed school

I was rejected from Wesleyan. Can I get into Vassar?

W/F/WA state

GPA UW: 3.8
GPA W: 3.9
my school does not weight honors, which f-ed me over because you can't take many APs until your senior year.

12th Grade:
Science: Physics A
Math: A.P. Statistics A-
English: A.P. American Literature A
History: A.P. United States History A
Religion: Senior religion A
Elective: A.P. Studio Art A

SAT I: 2170
Writing:800
Critical Reading:730
Math:640

SAT II:
Literature:700
French:700

Extra Curriculars:
Ballet for 14 years, including summers spent in Boston, New York, L.A. etc. training intensively with professional ballet companies. Nutcracker shows as well as other performances. Lead roles in shows. AMAZING recommendation from former ballet teacher. Made a ballet video.

Piano: 13 years. Gold medalist in annual competitions.

French Club president (member since freshman year)
Junior Statesmen of America cabinet member(since freshman year)
National Honors Society (inducted as a sophomore)
ASB rep for 3 years
HOBY representative from my school
Student Life Award for 3 years
Peer Tutor

VOLUNTEERING:
Northwest Harvest Food Bank (freshman year)
Public Library (Teen section, sophomore year)
Tutor at a Catholic elementary school (junior year)
NARAL -WASHINGTON (senior year)
Overall I will graduate with about 100 hours of service

INTERNSHIPS:
at NARAL-Washington as an intern this summer.

Incredible teacher recs. My teachers let me read them and they're really good; they gave me top 1% for everything.

jeez that's impressive. sounds like you have a great shot at getting in! i don't think they'll look at your gpa out of context, so they'll understand that your school doesn't weigh honors and that you couldn't take APs until senior year.

I'd say your quite borderline with your app. Your chances are decent at best.

extremely impressive. you definitely have a good chance, especially because you fill a niche with your ballet and piano. your app is way better than "borderline" and your chances are way more than "decent." good luck!

Vassar can be difficult to get into RD if they haven't seen a sincere evidence of interest. Can you apply EDII? By he way the ballet classes are unusually strong for a non-major program.
