Campus Visit Notes for Boston College
Visit Description:
I'm interested in premed and am trying to decide between BC and Holy Cross. One big negative to Boston College is the housing, being forced to live on a separate campus as a freshman and taking the bus for several miles to main campus really sucks and not being able to live on campus junior year is horrific. Holy Cross guarantees housing for all 4 years and has only one small integrated campus. I prefer the Boston area to being in Worcester which is an industrial city past its prime. Then again HC is a much more intimate community with just 3000 students versus 9000 at BC where I might get lost in the shuffle. No easy answer
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
I live in the Boston 'burbs. Close enough I could even be a commuter student but really want to live on campus when I go to college which is why the housing at BC is such a negative for me.
