Information Session:
Yes - Low-tech, 1 admission staffer and 1 current student spoke for a little over 1 hour. Informative and a little quirky. "Macro" (their word) view of the Brown education, the liberal arts and th
Campus Tour:
Yes - Led by Steve who was bright, friendly and well-informed. Described opportunities for research, internships, travel that he and friends experienced and it sounded fabulous.
Classroom Visit:
Yes - Good, white boards, etc. Did not take science tour.

A 200 year-old building can only look so good without a major rehab every few decades. Interiors of some buildings, bathrooms, etc. looking rundown. 3 Satellite workout rooms, which we did not see.
Dormitories:
3 - Good
Saw one freshman double that tour guide admitted was probably one of the worst, and it wasn't that bad. Only room we saw.
Security/Safety:
4 - Very Good
Federal Hill seems like a very safe neighborhood.

Shopping, restaurants very close and nice. Walk down the hill to downtown Providence and train to NY or Boston.

My S disappointed athletics and fitness may not be big on this campus based on facilities and lack of any mention during visit.
