Next to campus is the 880 acre Arboretum, great for running, snowshoeing, sketching, tubing the Cannon river, research, or relaxing. Corn fields on one side, Northfield on the other. Extremely safe. [View Full Report] |

Campus borders are not clearly defined because college owns older homes adjacent to campus buildings. These house specialty housing, offices etc. Could clearly hear the nearby train. Frequent trains. [View Full Report] |

All of downtown Northfield is a short walk from campus. It's a really cute little town - especially Sweet Lou's Waffle Bar, which is just off campus. It's delicious! [View Full Report] |

I actually thought Northfield was COOL. It's not huge or anything, but there is a little downtown area near campus with some restaurants, historical buildings, and a Caribou Coffee. [View Full Report] |

.The area is farmland. There are some nicely maintained houses around the campus. Not always easy to see where the campus ends and the surrounding neighborhood begins. Lots of faculty live very nearby. [View Full Report] |
