Yes - The classes as well as classrooms are amazing.
Campus:
Friendliness/Courtesy of Students:
5 - Excellent
All of the students were helpful and friendly. Its a very close-knit community and everyone was really nice.
Friendliness/Courtesy of Staff:
5 - Excellent
Everyone in the entire town of Hanover was friendly. Staff, students, citizens of Hanover. I couldn't say with words how friendly the people are.
Appearance of Campus:
5 - Excellent
The campus is absolutely beautiful. When I was in Hanover, there was construction all over Dartmouth, it was very rainy, yet the beauty of Dartmouth College was uncoverable.
Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:
5 - Excellent
The facilities are outstanding. This school has so much money that they are able to have the best building and classrooms. As far as cleanliness, I didn't even notice so it had to have been cl
Dormitories:
5 - Excellent
The dormitories are very old but very nice. I like the layout alot.
Security/Safety:
5 - Excellent
I felt save walking the campus at all hours of the day. Dartmouth is fairly isolated so there is no big city near it that you have to worry about.
Overall Campus Impression:
5 - Excellent
I love the campus. It's great. Baker, the green, Tuck, all of parts of the campus are nice and I really felt at home on campus.
Off-Campus:
Area Immediately Around Campus:
5 - Excellent
There is not much around the campus, but what it lacks in size it makes up in character. There are very few chains in hanover, I think that there are three or so. The culture is very evident.
City/Town/Community:
5 - Excellent
Wonderful, just as I was saying before. Once you leave Hanover, you will have an urge to return.
Campus Visit Notes for Dartmouth College
Visit Description:
There is no campus that made me feel the same way as Dartmouth did. I loved it in every way. If you are lucky enough to be accepted to Dartmouth, then take that opportunity. HYP has nothing on Dartmouth.
Hotel/Lodging Recommendations or Comments:
Hanover Inn is right on campus, it is fairly expensive and hard to get a room. You can always stay in nearby West Lebanon.
Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:
Molly's Restaurant is good, so is the pizza place but I cannot remember it's name. If you are a student the food is excellent so you won't have to worry about nasty campus food.
Other Comments (Transportation, local attractions, parking, etc.):
There are two airports, one in Lebanon the other in Manchester. There is also a train station. Dartmouth has its own skiway 15 minutes from campus. Boston is close and vermont is next door.
