Campus Visit Notes for Dartmouth College

Visit Description:

visited on a Fri during summer session so expected to see more students around. The dining hall was segmented for camp and students and very few students in student half. All food was debit based or cash, ie no all you can eat. Would have liked to see a dorm and inside of some buildings. The tour guide was nice but couldn't answer a lot of questions outside her area of expertise. She told us about a project her sorority did with a local girl scout troop which was against gs rules, so either she got it wrong or they circumvented gs guidelines. She couldn't answer questions about Dartmouth skiway. Seems there are multiple debit accounts for various things- dining hall food, convenience store food, they said tutoring has a fee except for the first 3 hours for those on financial aid, I got a nickel-and-diming sense.
