Campus:

Appearance of Campus:

4 - Very Good
When I did the tour, it was a sunny and beautiful day. The campus seemed bright and cheerful, but it wasn't hard to miss how clean it looked. It kind of looked like Brown U, actually.

Building/Facilities Maintenance/Cleanliness:
4 - Very Good
4 - Very Good
As mentioned, the campus was well kept and clean.

Security/Safety:
4 - Very Good
4 - Very Good
The tour guide informed us that no major incidents ever happened on the campus. I saw a flyer, however, that warned of a male groper...so the campus seemed pretty alert.

Overall Campus Impression:
4 - Very Good
4 - Very Good
The campus was quiet the day I came, and the food was good so I'd say I give it a rating of 4.

Off-Campus:

Area Immediately Around Campus:
4 - Very Good
4 - Very Good
There isn't much to do around the campus, unless you enjoy kayaking or hiking. There is plenty of nature to do, but not much shopping, I believe.

Campus Visit Notes for Dartmouth College

Visit Description:

If you want another insight on Dartmouth, then be sure to go to Youtube and type in "Drinking Time". The campus seems very spirited and alive. During our tour, a car drove by three times and some of the boys yelled out the windows "YEAAAH GO TO DARTMOUTH WHOOO YEAH DARTMOUTH!!!!"

Another peculiar thing I noticed was the "Art" they had displayed--it was art made of hair. Strands of colored, human hair decorated the hall outside the library. The artist was named "Wenda Gu", and had something to do with peace and the United Nations. It was kind of gross, actually. The students, I believe, generally think so, too. A newspaper I picked up had two articles on their opinions of the hair. The first article had a photo of a middle finger and was called "&*%$ that %*#@" and seemed very angry. The second had a thumbs up and was titled with "Love That %#@*", and was slightly sarcastic.

Dining/Restaurant Recommendations or Comments:

The food there was pretty good. I ate a burger, and I liked it. And to my joy, they even had an ice cream stand.
