Visit Activities:

Information Session: Yes - Two admission staff members spoke. Both were very good and did a good job of describing the admissions process for athletes and what makes Dickinson unique.

Campus Tour: Yes - Tour led by current players on team. They did a good job of providing personal insights into certain dorms, academic buildings and first year transition issues.

Classroom Visit: Yes - Visited several classrooms and labs. All were very clean, wired for computers and demonstrated the small class size and interaction with teachers.

Campus:

Toured on a Saturday morning so most students were barely awake!

Admissions staff and coaches were very positive and honest. Never said anything negative about rival schools or other colleges potential students were considering.

Most of the buildings are built with the same stone from the same quarry. All the buildings look the same. The one big negative is the main road that splits the campus.

All appeared to be in good shape. Newer science building is impressive.

Did not see a dorm room. Outside appearance and proximity to academic buildings seemed fine.

Felt very safe.

Nice buildings and quads. The dining hall was adequate, not spectacular. The campus would move up a couple of notches if not for the major road through campus and associated cars and noise.

Nice residential area.

Quiet town.

Visit Description:

Very positive and honest staff. Just not enough to put it clearly ahead of a couple of other colleges S has toured; Lafayette, Gettysburg, Bucknell.
